PERU

A 11 horas de vuelo de Auckland llegamos a Santiago de Chile y desde alli 3 horas mas hasta Lima.

En pocas horas pasamos de la belleza de los paisajes de nueva Zelanda a Sudamerica, a los imponentes Andes, al colorido y calor de su gente y sobre todo a lo enigmatico de la cultura Inca.


After an 11 hours flight from Auckland we got Santiago de Chile and then a short 3 hours flight to get Lima.

In few hours we move from the beautiful New Zealand landscapes to South America, with the imposing Andes, the colourful and warm people and overall the enigmatic Incas.

Thanks very much Mel and Eddy for the time you spent with us, for showing us around Viaduct Port, Mission Bay and one tree-no tree-hill. Thanks again for being with us for the Xmas Eve dinner and for bringing us to the airport. A big kiss from both Jose's.


La noche que llegamos a Auckland conocimos a Mel y Eddy que han sido nuestros anfitriones aqui, que nos han ensenyado la ciudad con los ojos de un neozelandes y cenaron con nosotros en nochebuena. Gracias a ellos por pasar este tiempo con nosotros.

NUEVA ZELANDA ISLA NORTE & AUCKLAND / NZ NORTH ISLAND & AUCKLAND

La isla norte esta mucho mas habitada que la sur, los paisajes continuan siendo espectaculares pero menos alpinos y mas volcanicos.

Auckland es la ciudad mas grande del pais, la mas cosmopolita, la mas maritima. Esta asentada sobre 50 islas y 48 volcanes, bahias, calas, playas, club nauticos, etc.

Las transformacion del puerto America's Cup en Viaduct Port es realmente envidiable.

Pasar la navidad aqui al sol ha sido fantastico.


The North Island is much more inhabitated than the southern one. The landscapes are equally spectacular but less alpine and more vulcanic.

Auckland is the largest city of the country, the most cosmopolitan and maritime one. It is located over 50 islands, 48 vulcanoes, baies, coves, beaches, yatch clubs, etc.

The transformation of the Amercic'as Cup port into Viaduct Port is really enviable.

To be here in Xmas at the sun, has been fantastic.

NZ SUR LAS FOTOS/ SOUTH NZ THE PICTURES

NUEVA ZELANDA SUR / SOUTH NEW ZEALAND

A 3 horas de avion de Australia (a que parece que estan al lado?) llegamos a Queenstown, en la isla sur de Nueva Zelanda.

Aterrizar rodeado de montanyas alpinas cubiertas de nieve fue algo que no esperabamos.

Nueva Zelanda Sur es algo asi como "bienvenidos a la tierra-media del senyor de los anillos": naturaleza salvaje, paisajes gigantescos y majestuosos, poquisima poblacion....y u frio impensable en verano.

3 hours flight from Australia and we got Queenstown in the soth island of New Zealand.

Landing surrounded by mountains full on snow was realy unexpected.

New Zealand South is something like "welcome to the middle-earth of the Lord of the rings": wild nature, huge and majestic landscapes, uninhabitated lands.....and an amazing cold that we did not expect.
