Despues de un trayecto en tren desde Agra y 5 horas de coche llegamos al pequenyo pueblo de Khajuraho donde se encuentran un conjunto de 22 templos del siglo X patrimonio de la humanidad y conocidos por sus figuras eroticas.

Simplemente preciosos.


We departed from Agra and after a train journey and 5 hours driving we reached the small village of Khajuraho where you can find some 22 temples from the X century which are World Heritage site and well known for theis erotic sculptures.

Just amazing.

Visitar el Taj Mahal era uno de los objetivos del viaje a la India.

y nos ha impresionado.

Como dijo Rabindranath Tagore, el Taj Mahal es como una lagrima del cielo.

No podriamos describirlo mejor.


To visit the Taj Mahal was one the main reason to visit India.

And is has impresed us.

As Rabindranath Tagore said "the Taj Mahal is like a heaven's tear"

Despues de volar 5 horas desde Amman llegamos a Delhi. India es extrema.

Belleza extrema.

Pobreza extrema.

colores extremos.

sabores extremos.

olores extremos...

Todo es extremo hasta puntos inimaginables e imposibles de describir.

Despues de nuestra estancia en Mandawa y Jaipur salimos hacia Agra para visitar el Taj Mahal.


After a 5 hours flight from Amman, we landed in Delhi. India is extreme.

Extreme beauty.

Abject poverty.

Extreme colours.

Extreme tastes.

Extreme smells.

In India everything is so extreme that it is impossible to write about.

After our stay in Mandawa and Jaipur we depart to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.

La gran sorpresa de jordania ha sido del descubrimiento de la ciudad romana de Jerash, a 50 km al norte de Amman. El momento mas emotivo el paseo por el cardus maximus y de repente, la llamada al rezo de los imanes de las mezquitas.

The nicest surprise of jordan has been the discovery of the roman city of Jerash, some 50 km on the north of Amman. The most emotional moment the walking along the cardus maximus (most important way of the city) when suddently the immam of the mosques nearby started to call for praying.

Uno de los motivos principales para venir a Jordania era visitar Petra. Nos ha sorprendido la grandiosidad y la extension. Siempre nos pasa algo curioso en los viajes y en Petra nos ha llovido y mucho.

One of the main reasons to come to Jordan was to visit Petra. We have been surprised by the greatness and the extension of the site. We live always rare things when travelling, this time was the raining in Petra.

Como es costumbre nuestra amiga Mar nos llevo al aeropuerto. Despues de 5 horas de vuelo desde Madrid llegamos a Amman donde pasamos la noche antes de salir hacia el Mar Muerto.

Si, es verdad, es imposible nadar, la gran cantidad de sal del agua te hace flotar y solo se puede nadar de espaldas. Todo un lujo para la piel la envoltura de barro.

Esta manyana, hemos salido del MarMuerto para pasar por el Monte Nebo y visitar la fortaleza de los cruzados de Alkarak.

Ahora estamos en Petra para visitarla manyana y volver hacia Amman.

As it was last time, our friend Mar accompanied us to the airport. After a 5 hours flight from Madrid we reached Amman, where we spent the night before departing to the Dead Sea.

It is true, it is impossible to swim. Due to the hih salinity of the water, you float and you can only swim backwards. It was a luxe for the skin the mud covering.

This morning we departed from the Dead Sea to see Mount Nebo and the crusaders fortress of AlKarak.

Now we are in Petra ready to visit it tomorrow and then back to Amman.

......DE NUEVO APUNTO DE EMPEZAR

Los viajes son siempre momentos de reflexion y de inspiración.

En abril de 2009 estuvimos visitando Praga y una noche, cenando en el restaurante Celeste (en la terraza de la dancing house), bebiendo un buen vino y disfrutando de las vistas del castillo decidimos volver a sentir la sensación de organizar una vuelta al mundo.

Y nos pusimos a la marcha. Nos fuimos al hotel y con google earth empezamos a imaginar el itinerario que casi finalizó esa misma noche.

Desde entonces hemos ido quedando, hablando, pero con mucha mas tranquilidad que la vez anterior.

Ahora, quedan solo dos dias y aun quedan algunos flecos por terminar.

Esta vez hemos decidio no anunciar el recorrido para crear más expectación.

Travelling is always a very inspiring moment.

In April 2009 we have travelled to Prague, and one night, having dinner at restaurant Celeste (on the top of the dancing house designed by Frank Gehry), enjoying a good wine a great views over the castle, we have decided to feel the excitement of organising another World Tour.

And we inmediately started with. We went to the hotel and started with google earth to imagine and discuss about the new itinerary that was, almost finished, that night.

We have met several times since then but much quieter than last time.

Now we are just two days ahead of departure and we are still workin on the trip.

This year we are not going ahead the itinerary...so we create so more expectancy.
